Metro by T-Mobile Call Forwarding Instructions

Please note that codes are subject to change by Metro by T-Mobile. 

Activate Call Forwarding Feature with Metro

  • Call Metro’s support line at 888-863-8768 and add call forwarding as a feature to your current plan. This will be an additional $1 a month. 

  • You can also log into your MyMetro app, go to settings, features, and add the call forwarding feature. This will be an additional $1 a month.

Pick the kind of call forwarding you want from the options below:

Unconditional (Standard) Call Forwarding - Calls are immediately forwarded to the answering service without ringing to you first.


Busy Call Forwarding - Calls are forwarded to the answering service if you are on the other line.


Unanswered Call Forwarding - Calls are forwarded to the answering service if you do not answer. Cannot hit ignore or the call will go to voicemail.


Best practice is to save the on and off numbers as contacts in your phone so turning on and off the answering service is as easy as clicking a button!


Unconditional Call Forwarding:

  • Dial **61* (do not press call yet)

  • After dialing  **61*, enter your account number (10 digit number) then dial #

  • Press call and listen for a tone or success message


Deactivate Unconditional Call Forwarding: 

  • Dial ##61#

  • Listen for a tone or success message stating the call forwarding has been deactivated


Busy Call Forwarding: 

  • Dial **67* (do not press call yet)

  • After dialing  **67*, enter your account number (10 digit number) then dial #

  • Press call and listen for a tone or success message


Deactivate Busy Call Forwarding: 

  • Dial ##67#

  • Listen for a tone or success message stating the call forwarding has been deactivated


Unanswered Call Forwarding: 

  • Dial **62* (do not press call yet)

  • After dialing **62*, enter your account number (10 digit number) then dial *11#

  • Press call and listen for a tone or success message


Deactivate Unanswered Call Forwarding: 

  • Dial ##62#

  • Listen for a tone or success message stating the call forwarding has been deactivated
