Verizon Call Forwarding Instructions

Instructions for activating and deactivating call forwarding from a Verizon Wireless device.

Turning On Call Forwarding

 

Conditional Forwarding (Missed calls come to the answering service)

  1. Dial *71 with your Signpost forwarding number
  • Example: *715551236789
  1. Call the number, and listen for a success message

Unconditional Forwarding (All calls come to the answering service)

  1. Dial *72 with your Signpost forwarding number
  • Example *725551236789
  1. Call the number, and listen for a success message

 

Turning Off Call Forwarding

 

If you wish to change your forwarding type, please deactivate current forwarding before dialing in new codes

 

Deactivate Call Forwarding 

    1. Dial *73 
  • Call the number, and listen for a success message

 

If you are experiencing issues please check the following items

1. Ensure you have the device/number you wish to forward from

Note: Your Signpost forwarding number can be found at the top of your Messaging Hub

2. Important Information for Iphone Users:

If calls are not being forwarded after entering your code. Check the “Live Voicemail” setting in your Iphone and ensure that it is turned off! (Grayed Out)
